- Patrons: Renowned medical geneticists who have significantly contributed to the field.
- Member: Full-fledged membership for qualified clinical geneticists.
- Associate Member: For non-physicians, clinicians, and genetic counselors with relevant qualifications.
- Patron: Eminent medical geneticists invited by the academy.
- The current annual membership fee is ₹1000 and life membership fee is ₹5000, subject to revision by the Executive Committee.
- Patrons are exempt from membership fees.
- Membership benefits include access to conferences, expert-led webinars, and training programs like GeneTOP, along with opportunities to publish in a reputed journal, eligibility for fellowships in Clinical and Prenatal Genetics, and valuable resources for clinicians and patients.
