Abstract DNA repair disorders are inherited disorders resulting from defective DNA repair mechanisms of the cell, most of which have an autosomal recessive pattern of inheritance. Majority of these disorders are associated with immunodeficiency states and an increased predisposition to malignancies. This article reviews the underlying molecular pathology of these conditions and the clinical approach to the relatively common, well characterized disorders in this group. | |||
